This website is an evolving collection of essays, observations, prototypes and experiments. Some rooms are complete; others are in development and may change or be withdrawn without notice.

The publisher is Inspired by Japan, an independent publishing and research practice.

These terms apply to this website and to the Inspired by Japan projects Yonder, Fish and Sono Mae, wherever they are published.

You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and share links to this material for personal, editorial or educational purposes. You may not reproduce substantial portions, republish, resell or use the material to train commercial models without prior written permission.

What you write or enter remains yours. Fish and Sono Mae keep your content only in your own browser, so nothing is held by us.

When you submit a Yonder response, that response — and an email address, if you choose to give one — is stored by Inspired by Japan as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you choose to submit, and you should not submit confidential information belonging to someone else.

Several rooms and projects are prototypes, provided for exploration only. They may be incomplete, carry no guarantee of availability, accuracy or continuity, and may be modified or withdrawn.

Because Fish and Sono Mae keep your work in your browser, that work can be lost if you clear your browser data, use a different browser or device, or overwrite it. Please keep your own copy of anything you wish to retain.

All text, marks, layout, imagery and identities on this website and in its projects remain the property of their respective owners and are protected by copyright and related rights. Nothing here transfers ownership or grants a licence beyond the permitted use described above.

The writing published here, and anything a project returns to you, reflects observation and interpretation. It is offered as perspective, not as marketing, legal, financial or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as such.
